Small Incision Lenticule Extraction – is a minimally invasive laser vision correction that creates a thin, contact lens shaped layer, called a lenticule, just beneath the surface of the eye. The ophthalmologist uses a Femtosecond Laser to create a small 4mm opening, through which the lenticule is removed. RLE

Refractive Lens Exchange also known as Clear Lens Exchange (CLE), is a surgical procedure similar to cataract surgery, where the eye’s natural lens is replaced with an artificial intraocular lens (IOL). The difference from cataract surgery is that the natural lens is still clear and functional but it is replaced to improve the patient’s vision while also eliminating the need for cataract surgery in the future.

Cataract Surgery

The natural lens of your eye gets cloudy as a normal part of aging. This lens, or cataract, is then removed and replaced with a clear artificial lens called an intraocular lens (IOL) implant.
