Dr. Duresa holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Biochemistry with a Mathematics minor from Northern Illinois University. He received his Doctor of Optometry from the prestigious and first optometric school in the country, Illinois College of Optometry. Dr. Duresa completed a specialty contact lens rotation at North Surburban Vision Consultants and an ocular disease rotation with Eye Physician Associates. Through his rotations, he earned the Clinical Excellence Award given to 4th year optometry students exhibiting exemplary knowledge and treatment in patient care. Dr. Duresa is a member of the American Optometric Association, Wisconsin Optometric Association, and is NBEO certified.
Dr. Duresa practices within the full scope of his optometric degree. He treats and manages various ocular diseases and provides excellent comprehensive eye examinations for patients of all ages. Dr. Duresa specializes in Specialty, Rigid Gas Permeable, and Soft contact lens fittings.
On his free time, Dr. Duresa loves spending time with his wife and son. He enjoys the friendly competition from his spouse when bowling and playing golf. Born and raised in the northern suburbs of Chicago, he is a big fan of the Chicago Bears, Bulls, and Cubs. But, Packer fans are still welcome.
