Born and raised in IL on a farm, Dr. Jessica Schiffbauer attended the University of IL – Champaign and graduated in 2012. She then attended optometry school at the prestigious New England College of Optometry (NECO) in Boston, MA where she received her Doctor of Optometry degree in May 2016. Following her graduation, Dr. Schiffbauer furthered her education with an additional year of residency in ocular disease at Omni Eye Services in Atlanta. After completing her residency, she worked at Virginia Eye Consultants in Norfolk before deciding to move back closer to her family in the Midwest. Before joining ECRK, Dr. Schiffbauer served as the Chief of Optometry at the Medical College of Wisconsin in Milwaukee.
Dr. Schiffbauer has accumulated multiple licenses and certifications and has authored and submitted multiple presentations and publications in her field. She is board certified by the American Board of Optometry and a fellow of the American Academy of Optometry. She is an active member of the American Optometric Association and Wisconsin Optometric Association. She currently serves on the Paraoptometric Resources Committee for the American Optometric Association.
When Dr. Schiffbauer is not at work helping patients achieve their best visual outcomes, she can be found reading, working out, playing and watching sports, and trying new local restaurants.
